At Monavar our kittens and cats are a part of our family. All of our queens deliver their babies in a bedroom that has been set up specifically for this purpose. When their time is due Paul and I 'move into' this bedroom so that we can monitor mum and help with the delivery process. Mum and the babies stay here until the kittens are 5-6 weeks old, with mum being allowed out whenever she wishes. At 6 weeks we bring the babies out into the living area in a large pen where they are introduced to the normal day to day living sights and sounds - telephones, television, grandchildren, vaccums etc. Once the kittens have had their first vaccination they are free to 'explore' the house under supervision but in the evening they are returned to their 'bedroom' for their own safety.

Our pet kittens go to their new homes with their first vaccination, microchipped, desexed, wormed, groomed and litter trained- please note that desexing for pet kittens is non negotiable. Each kitten also comes with a Bayer Starter Pack and information on feeding, grooming and the breed in general. I do not ship my pet babies interstate as I like to meet their new family first.
